Microphone Circuit between Microphone and Navigation Receiver Assembly

DESCRIPTION
This circuit sends a microphone signal from the microphone amplifier assembly to the navigation receiver assembly.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TSW- - SGND)
|
|
(a) Disconnect the I7 navigation receiver assembly connector.
|
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

(a) Disconnect the I7 navigation receiver assembly connector.
|
(b) Disconnect the U7 roof console box assembly connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (MACC VOLTAGE)
|
|
(a) Reconnect the I7 navigation receiver assembly connector.
|
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(c) Reconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector.

REPLACE MICROPHONE AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY WITH ANOTHER AND CHECK
|
(a) Replace the telephone microphone assembly with a normal one
.
(b) Check if the same problem occurs again.
OK:
Malfunction disappears
